COVID-19 RISK ASSESSMENTS
WHAT IS COVID-19?
The World Health Organisation has described COVID-19 as:
"Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.

The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face."
RETURNING TO WORK DURING COVID-19 OUTBREAK
The majority of workplaces have been effected by COVID-19 in some way. Many people are now starting to return to work, during this stage your organisation must protect employees from harm and take reasonable steps to safeguard you and others from Coronavirus. Your organisation must carry out a COVID-19 Risk Assessment as part of a phased plan to help manage and mitigate the risks to employees and other people.

COVID-19 RISK ASSESSMENT
As part of your organisations return to work we are able to carry out COVID-19 Risk Assessments. Our risk assessment will identify what work activities or situations might cause transmission of the virus, who could be at risk and how to decide how likely it is for someone to be exposed. We are also able to produce presentations to employees returning to work explaining how their work place procedures may have changed and what they can expect in order to operate safely during the outbreak.
